2024-25 Pep Band Performance. A rotating group of student musicians (this band is made up of student volunteers) provides music at events based on sign-ups. The group varies each time and is not a fixed ensemble, offering flexibility for student involvement.
2024-25 Jazz Festival. Students engaged with top jazz educators, received high-level clinician feedback, and gained experience performing in a collegiate festival setting designed to challenge and elevate musical and ensemble skills.
2024-25 Concert Festival. This festival aligns with our commitment to meaningful musical experiences by placing students in a professional setting, connecting them with peer ensembles, and receiving input from nationally respected conductors, adjudicators, and educators like Patrick Sheridan.
2023-24 Community Performance. Students performed at the middle school feeder concert to inspire younger musicians, build continuity between programs, and demonstrate the opportunities and community awaiting those who continue in band through high school.
2021-22 First Jazz Performance. Jazz began with just seven students on the first day back from COVID. Through intentional culture-building and consistent outreach, the program grew to over 40 members in just two years, reaffirming the value of jazz education in our school.
2021-22 Combined Bands Concert. This was the first concert after COVID, performed by students recruited back into the program after significant pandemic losses. It combined four class periods with just one joint rehearsal—a model we used for two years until enrollment allowed proper placement. Today, the Wind Ensemble continues under a two-period structure, representing the lasting growth and rebuilding of the program.
